IT Asset Manager

We are looking for an IT Asset Manager to join our Global Service Desk team in Bengaluru, India, reporting to the director of IT. In this role, you will work as desktop support engineer and focus on our customers and business partners. You will talk to multiple regional IT technicians and point of contacts to present the financial details of ITAM in front of business leaders. What you’ll do

  • Manage the end user IT asset life cycle end to end and planning and demand evaluation and budgeting 
  • Complete ownership accountability of Purchase order processes and tasks covering all the Regions and coordinate with vendors  
  • New user asset provisioning and new hire induction and oversee asset refresh, service, and retiral.
  • Work extensively on the ITSM tool, ServiceNow, and ITAM tool
  • Troubleshoot issues
  • Must be willing to travel, domestic and international
  • Partner with our FP&A, Talent Acquisition, and HRIS teams
  • Suggest processes implementations and improvements
  • Collaborate closely with Client Engineering on device benchmarking and devices hardening protocols to drive vendor coordination for compliance
  • Knowledge of IT asset management audits and evidence submissions

 What you’ll bring: 

  • 8+ years of experience in core IT asset management with a focus on tools like ServiceNow, Trax/Ariba, or similar platforms and minimum 4 years of experience in service desk and remote IT support
  • Proficient in ITAM, deskside support, service desk operations, vendor management, and procurement processes
  • Solid analytical and advanced Excel/reporting skills, including writing queries in ServiceNow
  • Deep understanding of IT asset management processes and compliance with domestic statutory guidelines, including STPI and SEZ
  • Good skills in reporting and IT asset record maintenance
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills for cross-functional projects and partnerships
  • Experience with end user application support will be added advantage
  • Familiarity with Capex and Opex processes
  • Willing to work late evenings IST remotely
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or related work experience desired or equivalent experience

After six months, you will…

  • Be accountable for 100% end user IT asset management
  • Develop strong professional relationships with all business partners and stakeholders
  • Coordinate and collaborate with all business partners
  • Deliver SOPs and processes documents of ITAM
  • Gain a wealth of knowledge on IT financial planning forecasting and strategy
  • Travel domestically

 After about a year, you will…

  • Own global company-wide IT asset management
  • Decide on budgeting forecasting planning
  • Develop deeper vendor relationships to find out market trends and select best products for the company
  • Deliver audit readiness documentation and processes
  • Independently own the IT asset audit success
  • Travel internationally
