IN A NUTSHELL… 

The IPM Team Member contributes toward the execution and maintenance of the biological control program and technical protocols for the growing and cultivation of cannabis.  

This role is supporting our NETA brand, one of the renowned retail brands under the Parallel umbrella. WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING 

  • Follow NETA Policies & Procedures for the daily operations and fully comply with state medical marijuana regulations. 
  • Work successfully alongside other department Team Members. 
  • Perform and document product applications on plants using backpack and cart sprayers. 
  • Identify and execute preventative maintenance and elimination of all types of pests and pathogens. 
  • All other job duties as assigned. 
  • Hours: 4 - 10-hour days and every other weekend (7:00 am – 5:30 pm). 
  • This is a Union position. 

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS YOU’LL BRING 

Required 

  • Age 21 or over (Industry Requirement) 
  • High School Diploma or equivalent (Industry Requirement) 
  • Valid Government-Issued Photo ID (Industry Requirement) 
  • Previous experience making application in agricultural settings 
  • Previous experience operating and repairing agricultural application equipment 
  • Minimum of 3 months of IPM experience  
  • Proficient with measurements  
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member 
  • Passionate about the importance of medical marijuana 
  • Must pass a background check  
  • Internal candidates: 6 months job experience with NETA (Parallel) 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS 

  • Ability to consistently carry 40lbs on back or pull 400lb sprayer while making applications (throughout a 10-hour shift). 
  • Exposure to indoor growing environmental conditions (bright lights, temperatures, humidity). 
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted and up to 80 lbs. assisted. 
  • Ability to pass a respirator fit test. 
  • Requires the ability to stand for prolonged periods of time. 
  • Consistent attention to detail for 10 hours per day. 
  • Must be able to bend, lift and stoop continuously.
