We have an exciting opportunity to join our Legal team in Perth and are currently looking for an IP Assistant to join the team. 

As an Intellectual Property Assistant, you will provide vital administrative support to our IP Manager and the broader IP Team, ensuring the effective management and enforcement of our intellectual property portfolio.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Assist in managing and maintaining all Intellectual Property (IP) files, including clearances, assets, enforcement, and general IP files.
• Monitor deadlines, send reminders, and update internal IP databases.
• Prepare IP-related template documents, letters, forms, and maintain the IP precedent folder.
• Support the preparation of internal IP education sessions, including slide preparation.
• Manage IP enforcement files, review and categorise IP enforcement requests, and prepare and lodge forms.

What you will bring to the role:

• 1 to 2 years of demonstrated administrative experience.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Office.
• Exceptional attention to detail with high levels of accuracy.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise and complete multiple tasks within quick turnaround times.
• A collaborative team spirit and a strong willingness to learn and improve.
