Introducing the Mobile team 👋

Our Mobile team are the people who build the travel companion in your pocket. They own the mobile app that allows you to travel smart and the buy-flow process that helps you get there. The team is organised into squads with mixed Android and iOS developers, each with a team lead, reporting into an Engineering Manager. Teams are paired up to company level themes which set the tone for the kind of product roadmap the squad will primarily be working on delivery.

As an iOS Engineer at Trainline, you will...🚄

  • Be a part of the mobile team where you will contribute to the design and implementation of our software.
  • Appreciate the value of agile and of engineering practices, and solid, clean code.
  • Build and deliver software using Agile practices (Scrum, two weeks sprints), continuous integration and pair programming.
  • Be actively involved in all aspects of the product lifecycle.
  • Deliver new functionalities, using the most appropriate tools and techniques

We'd love to hear from you if you...🔍

  • Have in-depth experience with Swift, Objective-C would also be a big plus!
  • Are enthusiastic about a great user experience
  • Have the ability to write testable code and have strong debugging skills
  • Appreciate the value of TDD, and incorporate those practices into your code
  • Have experience working with Git for Version Control
