About the role
- Reporting to Delivery/Engineering Manager (Career Hub). As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering features for the SEEK iOS mobile app. You’ll work within a multi-functional team to ensure the development of scalable, high-quality solutions that align with SEEK’s platform and technical strategies. This is a hands-on role that involves coding, problem-solving, and collaborating with fellow engineers, product managers, and designers to deliver great customer outcomes
- Provide joint technical team leadership to the Career Hub team and guidance for the wider Candidate & APCA Enablement teams
- Managing technical health (monitoring and improving the health and quality of the code base, responding to incidents, adhering to SEEK’s paved roads and design patterns),
- Input and guidance into product design and continuous problem and technical discovery
Responsibilities
- Owning the technical approach for mobile apps platform contribution across the sub domain (Career Hub)
- Corresponding and coordinating with iOS technical leaders in other sub domains on technical solutions and approaches
- Evolving delivery processes to align with the mobile apps platforms
- Maintaining platform health, ensuring that our systems are reliable, resilient and cost effective.
- Driving a customer-focus in what the team does to ensure we are delivering great outcomes for our Candidates.

- Experience integrating with backend services.
