Investor Services Oversight Manager

Position Overview:

The Oversight Manager is responsible for managing and overseeing key investor services activities by ensuring efficient and accurate processing of postings, inbox management and handling transfers, while being an active and true partner with SSG. The position serves as a trusted resource for information and assistance with internal reports, transfers and document uploads for our clients. This role ensures compliance with internal policies, maintains vendor relationships and works cross-functionally to support key business operations. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational, communications and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

 

Essential Job Functions:

  • Oversee  StepStone’s Customer Relationship Management (“CRM”) databases and investor portal, including posting documents to the investor portal and creating client communications
  • Managing Outlook Inboxes
  • Communicating with other StepStone departments regarding upcoming posts and approvals
  • Compile and evaluate investor data for internal reporting
  • Responding by e-mail and/or phone to client inquiries and information requests
  • Updating and managing document processes and policies to ensure proper record keeping
  • Oversee relationships with own team and SSG to ensure standards are met and operating according to SSG’s process
  • Manage the posting process, ensuring timely and accurate processing of all postings and communications
  • Oversee the company’s inbox to ensure all inquiries, issues and correspondence are responded (actioned) in a timely and professional manor
  • Manage and coordinate transfers, ensuring that transitions are seamless and align with company policy

 

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • 2+ years experience using and managing Salesforce, Microsoft CRM and Microsoft Sharepoint or an equivalent database required
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Must have demonstrated track record of handling sensitive and confidential information in a professional manner
  • Related client service experience in financial services, alternative fund or corporate administration or similar field experience

 

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Intermediate level experience with Microsoft Excel required proficient in other Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience in managing vendor relationships within a regulated industry
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions
  • Meticulous attention to detail; strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task and manage time in a detail- oriented environment
  • Foster a sense of teamwork, assisting others when needed/required
  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills
  • Strong problem solving skills; professionally communicate with all levels of staff, internal and external

*This is temporary assignment*

Salary: $70,000 - $90,000

The salary range is an estimate of pay for this position.  Actual pay may vary depending on job-related factors that can include location, education, skill, and experience.  The salary range does not include any benefits or other forms of possible compensation that may be available to employees.
