The Role
You will invite, convince, and onboard an impressive cohort of investors for a program that will include an investor lounge, a dedicated investor dinner, bespoke meetings and opportunities to connect with fellow members of the investment ecosystem.
Your future KPIs will be aligned to bringing onboard the best and the brightest investors from around the world, that will help ensure our events has the most impressive investor program cohort in the region.
Job Responsibilities
You will be responsible for identifying an impressive range of investors and investment firms.
You will keep in contact with these investors throughout the year, cultivating a relationship, answering all queries, and meeting with them to convince them to become a part of the Investor Program. All prospective and confirmed investors will be kept on a database that will be updated daily, for tracking and data purposes.
Closer to the event, this would involve working with the logistical operations team to ensure: Tier 1 investors (from the top global firms) are well looked after (e.g., flights, accommodation, transport); and that all investors confirmed to attend are kept well informed about key event details, such as badge collection, app downloads, venue location, and more.
Furthermore, you will co-ordinate with marketing to ensure that every confirmed investor’s bio and picture are featured on our website and track any changes prior to the event.

Essential
- Experience in conference production and/or event management
- Experience in dealing with investors and VCs is greatly preferred, especially if relationships have already been established and cultivated

Skills required
- You will contribute with new ideas and topics for the conferences, features, webinars, and content based on those investors you have onboarded.
- You will work closely with marketing team to ensure that they accurately represent your investors.
- You will be innovative in identifying cutting-edge investors and ensuring they align to the core values of our events
- You will be diligent in ensuring onboarded investors are high quality and the firms they represent are high value.
- You will do extensive research across multiple platforms to ensure all investor information is up to date.
- You will have excellent people management skills to ensure investors are well looked after both in the pre-event run-up, and on site.
