As an Investment Specialist at Wallex, you will play a pivotal role in identifying, evaluating, and supporting investment opportunities within the crowdfunding ecosystem. Working closely with startups, entrepreneurs, and investors, you will analyze project proposals, develop investment strategies, and ensure that capital is allocated effectively to high-potential projects. This role requires a keen understanding of market trends, financial analysis, and strong communication skills to manage investor relationships and provide insights that drive company growth.
Key Responsibilities:
• Investment Analysis: Conduct thorough financial and market analysis to assess potential investments in startup projects. This includes understanding the risks, returns, and overall viability of each project. Proven experience in copywriting, particularly in crafting feasibility studies or business plans.
• Due Diligence: Perform due diligence on startups and entrepreneurs seeking crowdfunding, analyzing their business models, revenue projections, and risk factors to ensure alignment with company and investor goals.
• Market Research: Stay updated on market trends, industry developments, and economic factors that influence investment opportunities in the region.
• Investor Relations: Build and maintain relationships with potential and current investors, keeping them informed on portfolio performance and new investment opportunities.
• Portfolio Management: Track and manage the performance of investment portfolios, providing regular updates to stakeholders and advising on potential adjustments.
• Report Preparation: Prepare detailed investment proposals, risk analyses, and performance reports to present to investors and company leadership.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure that all investment processes adhere to the regulations related to crowdfunding and securities.
Requirements
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; CFA certification or an advanced degree is a plus.
• Experience: 3+ years of experience in investment analysis, financial planning, or a related field, preferably within fintech, crowdfunding, or venture capital sectors.
• Skills:
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with experience in financial modeling and valuation.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with an ability to explain complex investment ideas to non-financial stakeholders.
• Knowledge of crowdfunding principles, startup financing, and local Iranian market dynamics.
• Proficiency in relevant financial software and tools (e.g., Excel, financial modeling software).
