Venture Capital Associate

We're seeking an exceptional associate to join our venture capital firm, focused on identifying and supporting the next generation of transformative technology companies.

About the Role

As an Associate, you'll play a crucial role in sourcing, evaluating, and supporting early-stage investments, with a particular focus on artificial intelligence and emerging technologies. You'll work directly with founders throughout their journey, from initial pitch to scaling their businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and evaluate early-stage investment opportunities in the AI/ML space
• Conduct thorough technical and market due diligence on potential investments
• Build and maintain strong relationships within the startup ecosystem through active participation in tech conferences, meetups, and community events
• Work closely with portfolio company founders to help refine their product-market fit, go-to-market strategy, and overall business development
• Support deal execution processes, including financial modeling, market research, and investment memoranda
• Collaborate with our global team across multiple time zones, including significant interaction with our India-based team members

Qualifications

Required Experience

• 3+ years of hands-on engineering or product management experience at high-growth AI/ML startups
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Past experience of working on AI/ML products
• Track record of building and maintaining strong professional relationships
• Experience working in cross-cultural, global teams
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Ability to work flexible hours to collaborate effectively across global time zones
• Prior work experience in a venture capital firm is preferred.

Preferred Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field
• Experience working with or within the Indian startup ecosystem
• Understanding of South Asian markets and business culture
• Prior experience in venture capital or startup investing
