- Oversee and ensure compliance with operational standards in record keeping and updates.
- Coordinate and implement SAP MM modules for Inventory Management (MIGO) at the facility.
- Monitor Material Requirement Planning for spare parts and production consumables.
- Track stock levels and compile a list of items that have reached their reorder points.
- Ensure the implementation of FIFO and monitor the shelf life of products.
- Supervise all inventory transactions, ensuring precise record keeping and assessing compliance levels.
- Develop and maintain an efficient inventory control system to guarantee real-time transaction posting.
- Identify and address inventory discrepancies and variances, investigating their root causes and implementing corrective measures.
- Collaborate with user departments to reconcile records, particularly for critical or insurance parts.
- Assess and analyze inventory performance, including turnover rates, stock levels, and instances of obsolete or excess inventory.
- Provide current stock information and order justification to facilitate the reordering process.
- Inform the Head of Store about any discrepancies in inventory records and assist in the resolution or reconciliation process.
Requirements
Education and Work Experience:
A Bachelor's or Higher National Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Accounting, or a relevant professional membership is highly desirable.
Candidates should have 3 to 5 years of experience in the manufacturing industry.
