As a member of the Inventory Team this associate is responsible for assisting the team in meeting company objectives through Inventory and materials management. Ensures timely processing of shipping, receiving and material deliveries.
This team member will:
- Obey all CFS Safety guidelines and policies on the loading dock and in the warehouse; correct any unsafe conditions or behaviors whiles maintaining a clean work environment
- Receive and verify purchase orders and stock items appropriately
- Pick and verify kits
- Complete physical inventories, cycles counts, random or receipt audits and reconciliations
- Provide inventory control reports as required
- Research and correct inventory discrepancies and perform adjustments where needed
- Identify, document and quarantine any damaged products
- Assist in maintaining Material Safety Data Sheets for incoming materials
- Ensure compliance with CFS Hazardous Material storage plans
- Complete incoming inspection of components with the CFS Quality Assurance and Quality Control team
- Ability to operate various Material Handling Equipment and obtain a DOT License
The ideal candidate will have most, if not all, of these requirements:
- Required Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Required Experience: 3+ years experience in Inventory Control
- 2 Yrs ERP Experience
- Exceptional understanding of inventory management & warehouse operations
- Solid understanding of ERP functionality
- Strong computer skills with MS office or G-Suite applications
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Learn quickly and adapt to new information and environments
Additional experience and/or qualifications:
- Start-up or high growth environment
- Experience in a manufacturing environment
- Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
- Perform activities such as stopping, typing, standing, and sitting for extended periods of time
- Dedication to safety to mitigate hazards that may include heat, cold, noise, fumes, strong magnets, lead (Pb), high voltage, and cryogenics
