- Coordinate & implement total inventory audit to measure level of compliance..
- Follow up Material Requirement plan for Spares & Production Consumables
- Identify and report potential risk, develop preventive action
- Monitor all inventory transaction, ensure accurate record keeping and measure compliance level..
- Establish and maintain effective inventory control system that guaranteed real time posting of transactions.
- Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies and variances, investigating the root cause and implementing corrective action
- Liaise with user departments to reconcile records especially on critical /insurance parts.
- Monitor and analyze inventory performance including turnover rates, stock level and obsolete or excess inventory.
- Provide information on current stock and order to provide justification for reordering.
- Notify the Head of store, of any irregularities in inventory records and provide support in reconciliation or resolving it.
Skills and Competencies
- Proven working experience is Inventory control & Valuation.
- People oriented and result driven.
- Knowledge of ERP- SAP MM module & Microsoft Excel.
- In-depth knowledge of stock handling.
Requirements
Education and Work Experience:
BSc/HND Business Administration/SCM/Engineering/Accounting/Professional membership is an added advantage.
Working experience: 5- 9years in Manufacturing Industry
