The Kit Packing Inventory Control Specialist is expected to work well with the inventory team in a positive, safe, and in a result driven manner. Inventory specialists are responsible for keeping track of supplies; through the means of accurate inventory records, precise data entry, and persistent monitoring. Above all, Inventory Control specialists are the data trackers – with the data being physical inventory.
Key Accountabilities, Duties, and Responsibilities
- Unload and load truck with inventory materials.
- Restock warehouse shelves.
- Inventory control through cycle counts and conducting physical inventory.
- Discard expired materials.
- Run weekly Material requirements planning (MRP)
- Update re-order point (ROP) frequently
- Keep record of disposed materials.
- Monitor and update the disposal list.
- Keep warehouse clean and organized daily.
- Carry out the daily plan’s goals provided by supervision/leadership.
- Observe health and safety regulations; maintain a clean, and orderly department in compliance with lean standards in compliance with 5s pillars.
- Communicates often with leadership team to facilitate labor sharing to maximize labor to revenue (LTR).
- Can effectively multi-task and prioritize responsibilities given by leadership.
- Contribute to the team, approach with a positive attitude, and conduct oneself professionally.
Basic Minimum Qualifications:
- Space utilization and inventory techniques.
- Capable of learning Kit Packing operations, procedures, equipment and terminology.
- OSHA, SDS, Health and safety regulations.
- Record-keeping techniques and Good Documentation Practice (GDP).
- Lift, move, sort and store objects; capable of lifting 50lbs and operating inventory equipment.
- Work is performed while standing, sitting and/or walking.
- Valid driver's license.
- Excellent Command of the English Language – spoken and written.
- Minimum 1 year work experience in a production environment.
- GED or High school Diploma or Equivalent experience, certifications, training, or military experience is considered and evaluated accordingly.
