Job title: INVENTORY CLERK
Summary/Objective: Samtec is looking for 2 SUMMER INTERNS while on summer break from May - August. The Inventory Clerk will maintain service, productivity, and profitability of the organization.
Schedule: Mon-Fri 630a-300p.
Essential Functions/ Responsibilities:
1.. Facilitate accurate shipping, receiving, and stocking operations
2. Rotation throughout multiple processes on a daily basis to maximize throughput
3. Provide outstanding customer service
4. Ability to work independently and as part of the team.

Required Experience
1. Lifting Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds from floor to waist.
2. Must be able to sit/stand for at least 90 consecutive minutes, and not suffer from any sensory deprivation and/or paralysis of the limbs.
3. Sense of urgency.
4. Good written communication skills.
5. Ability to pay close attention to detail.
Education
- High School Diploma or GED.
Training required
1. On the job training as appropriate.
