About the Role:

The Worldwide Invention team at Mindshare drives creativity & innovation in and beyond media by excelling in culture, community, and innovation. Through a balance of deep expertise and creative thinking we guide our clients to think outside of the box, using channels and mechanics that drives growth beyond their existing realms of focus (e.g. partnership, sponsorship, branded or social content, influencer, emerging technologies, sport, gaming, etc.).

The Invention Program Manager help drive the Worldwide Invention team’s clients achieve their business objectives in new ways through media. Specifically, this role is dedicated to leading the management of a global creative & media awards program, inluding thought leadership and stakeholder coordination across markets globally.

Their responsibilities are to design a global, client-driven award program, manage, host and drive judging sessions, fuel award entry writing across markets, and drive thought leadership. They oversee one Invention Program Executive. The role is based in London.

Responsibilities

-          Drive the development of a global award program, fueling a culture of media creativity and effectiveness across all markets

-          Lead the management of the overall program, working with the Business Director, from day to day conversation with markets and client to setting up regular connects, a repository library of entries, etc.

-          Host shortlisting and jury sessions to review work with senior leadership

-          Organisation of sessions / experiences driving better culture of creativity and awards (e.g. external judging sessions, attendance to award shows), include the development of content

-          Lead the development of case study template and database

-          Attend award shows, including organisation of attendance from key markets / clients

-          Coordinate with local agency and client teams across markets

The Ideal Candidate

-          Experience in managing internal programs is preferable

-          Strong project management skillset, ideally in creative field

-          Partnership or media / digital planning & buying experience is desirable, but not essential

-          A basic understanding of partnership, sponsorship, content and / or digital media channels

-          Excellent communication & presentation skills

-          Proficiency with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PPT etc)

-          A proactive self-starter with a problem-solving attitude and the ability to meet deadlines

-          Hands-on approach to service client relationships

-          Strong attention to detail and strong organisational skills

-          Able to multi-task and handle multiple projects at one time

-          Foreign language is a bonus

-          Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
