Internships

Purpose:

The Internship Program at KPI Solutions is designed to identify and mentor current college students that exhibit high potential for future employment in positions within the corporation and develop relationships within the College and University environment.

 

Objectives:

  • To introduce students to employment opportunities with KPI as well as assess his/her potential for permanent placement.
  • To increase the effectiveness and relevance of student’s education by applying classroom studies to KPI’s Environment.
  • To promote growth, innovation, and enthusiasm in the participating students.
  • To have students complete specific projects and assignments within a /department.

 

Guidelines:

  • Internships are available to students who sincerely have an interest in becoming an employee with KPI. Our goal is for the intern to learn about our Company and our culture to evaluate KPI as a future employer. As part of this evaluation process the intern will be working at a KPI office location or on a customer site with a KPI employee.

 

Compensation:

  • All internships at KPI are paid.  Depending on background, degree program, and prior experience, the average pay per intern is between $20.00/hr. - $22.00/hr. for the program. Interns will be eligible for the KPI cell phone stipend while they are employed.

Qualifications:

  • Candidates must be enrolled in a degree seeking program in a relevant discipline.  (Finance, Supply Chain Management, Data Analytics, Software Engineering, Robotics, & others based on location).
  • The program prefers candidates who have completed 2-3 years of undergraduate coursework but will consider outstanding candidates who do not meet this requirement.

 Duration of Internship:

  • Internships will take place during the summer months. (5/26/25 – 8/15/25).  Each offer that is made must have an end date. An extension may be requested by the manager prior to this established end date.

 

College Credit:

  • Many colleges and universities provide students with the option of receiving credit for an internship. Students interested in receiving credit for their internships are responsible for the coordination with their school and supplying Talent Acquisition with the proper paperwork.

 

Presentation/Wrap Up

  • Interns are required to conduct an exit presentation at the conclusion of the internship. The intern will present it to their mentor, manager, and members of the Leadership Team.
  • The purpose of the presentation is to serve as a review of what the intern has learned, provide feedback on the effectiveness of the experience and to give the intern a chance to demonstrate their presentation skills. This also provides an opportunity for managers and executive team members to see and hear the quality of potential candidates.

Evaluation:

  • Supervisors will evaluate the intern’s performance at the end of the internship.
