We are currently seeking a Translation Project Manager Intern to join our team!

Join Acolad Netherlands for a dynamic internship as a Translation Project Manager! Dive into the vibrant world of multilingual communication and gain hands-on experience in managing translation projects that span the globe. As an intern with us, you'll be at the heart of our operations, collaborating with colleague project managers and translators, coordinating diverse projects, and ensuring seamless communication between clients and our expert linguists.

Your creativity and problem-solving skills will flourish as you navigate the intricacies of localization and project management in a supportive, multicultural environment.

You will practice how to:

  • Manage and coordinate translation projects; 
  • Ensure the proper follow-up and handling of projects; 
  • Match translators and assignments; 
  • Send quotations and invoices; 
  • Switch between multiple systems and CAT tools; 
  • Prepare and complete documents; 
  • Stay in touch with translators and clients; 
  • Perform quality checks and provide constructive feedback; 
  • Assist with translations and reviews. 

Requirements

  • Studying in the field of translation, language/communication studies, or a related discipline (third or fourth-year student);
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, with excellent written and verbal communication skills;
  • Preferably available for 20 weeks (4 to 5 days a week); 
  • Strong organizational skills to manage tight deadlines and complex project situations;
  • Dedicated, stress-proof, energetic and adaptable; 
  • Proactive attitude and ability to prioritize tasks and workload;
