Area of topics for Master/Bachelor thesis:
- Development of novel controls solutions to continuously improve the performance of our gas engine products
- Working on software components for our next generation, web-based HMI & SCADA system used on our gas engines products
- Investigating new open-source-based technologies and tools for the use in modern HMI systems
Responsibilities as intern:
- Support the team in requirement discussions, scope and concept definitions and feature design by involving all necessary experts
- Exchange with senior engineers on technical development challenges and solutions
- Translate functional requirements into technical specifications and design solutions
Your Profile:
Ongoing Bachelor’ or Master studies in computer engineering or informatic
Educational experience and passion in HMI software design (back-end or front-end development)
Good programming skills, familiar with HTML5, JavaScript/TypeScript, NodeJS, React, Atvise (Bachmann), InfluxDB, OPCUA
Basic understanding of and interest in reciprocating engines and power systems
- A valid work permit for Austria is a prerequisite for this position (Non-EU citizens: please attach the work permit to the application)
The base pay is composed of the amount according to the Austrian collective agreement which is at least EUR 2.645,68 gross per month (x 14).
