What are you going to do?
In your thesis / graduation assignment, you will support the development of a novel technologies to make Cosuns production processes more sustainable and cost effective and enable products of the future.
Electrodialysis is an important separation technology within the food and biobased industry. Knowledge on this topic is key to support the Cosun strategy to develop new, sustainable products. In recent years competence on this topic has developed by setting up experimental facilities and methods at the Cosun Innovation Center. There is a need to develop further and identify potential applications.
Your contribution will be to perform a feasibility study for the application of electrodialysis for a case within a sugar beet pulp biorefining process. This involves lab scale experimental work, translating these results into a design and an evaluation thereof.
Who are you?
You are a 3rd ,4th or 5th year university student, with affinity for and proven experience with R&D for new chemical processes. You are studying chemical engineering or similar. You are available for an internship, for the duration of at least 16 weeks.
