Internship - Business Development Assistant, Japan (M/F)

Sézane continues to develop its presence in France and internationally. We are looking for a talent to join us on a 6 months internship starting January 2025, to support business development initiatives in Japan markets with a 360° approach.

This internship is based in Paris (75).

He/she will collaborate with different stakeholders in the company to ensure flawless localized customer experience: from website experience to 360° marketing, last mile delivery and client services.

Main responsibilities :

• Assist in planning and executing website localisation by ensuring the highest quality tone of voice to promote Sezane in Japan 
• Support all marketing activities including paid, social media and influencer marketing, sourcing local partners and acting as a facilitator with HQ teams 
• Research and keep up with current social media best practices and trends in the market 
• Conduct market research on the fashion landscape and competitors in Japan 
• Monitor and analyze sales data and customer behavior to optimize online sales performance 
• Support the team on daily runs as well as ad-hoc projects

Requirements

• Please note that we can only consider applicants with fluent Japanese language skills for this role. English language is also required, and French language is a plus 

• Fast-learner and able to adapt to a dynamic and entrepreneurial working environment 
• Organized, structured and strong attention to detail 
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team 
• Creative mind with a passion for fashion and brand development 
• Prior internships in the Japan fashion industry is a plus 
• Existing eligibility to work as an intern in France strongly preferred
