Greenpeace International (GPI) is looking for an International Funding Manager to play a crucial role in supporting international funding processes. You will contribute to the smooth transfer of millions of restricted Euros from National/Regional Organisations and major donors/foundations to GPI in support of the Global Resource Plan, while assisting in the management of funding strategies and maintaining alignment with internal finance strategies.
In this role you will:
Contribute to the development and realisation of the Funding Management strategy, ensuring alignment with Global Finance Team strategies.
Help ensure efficient and effective funding flows between GPI and the global Greenpeace network.
Analyse project proposals and provide recommendations, supporting decision-making on restricted income allocation.
Lead and develop processes related to gathering, checking, and reporting of plans and financial data.
Monitor expenditure and ensure compliance with restricted income, escalating any issues as needed.
Facilitate internal accountability processes by preparing financial reports, writing funding agreements, and assisting in expenditure monitoring.
Lead the annual ledger check process, ensuring accurate data management and rigorous audit preparations.
Develop a forecasting dashboard and provide training to budget holders, enhancing budget management across teams.
Support the execution of legal and narrative documentation related to funding transfers.
Act as a business partner to NRO finance teams and the major gifts team, ensuring high-quality, timely applications and reports.
