Who You Are

As International Expansion Manager you will play a critical role in helping grow Justworks’ footprint internationally by supporting the International expansion team in managing the end-to-end processes from zero to launch across new markets around the world. You will also contribute to continuously solidifying our international capabilities and infrastructure as we grow in existing markets.

Your Success Profile

What You Will Work On

  • Work with International leadership and Expansion team to execute on our international expansion roadmap and successfully deliver launches around the world 
  • Establish fully-functioning local entities and launches in countries within deadlines, and manage internal and external timelines and blockers to get there successfully
  • Ensure flawless delivery of country launches and execute a clear transition plan with all relevant stakeholders in International - Operations, Product & Engineering, and Sales. 
  • Contribute to continuously solidifying and optimizing our infrastructure in post-launch markets where needed
  • Help leadership develop a clear view on our path forward in each market by understanding key nuances and characteristics of each country
  • Contribute to building a scalable and repeatable model to expand in new countries 
  • Work closely and build excellent relationships with internal and external Legal teams to support our launches from a legal perspective 
  • Identify and build relationships with key vendors in each country, including counsel, payroll, accounting/tax,  immigration, and others 
  • Meet or exceed tight deadlines around incorporation and launches through careful planning and process orientation; juggle multiple workstreams in multiple countries at the same time
  • Stay up-to-date with country-specific trends and best practices, and share this knowledge internally 
  • Other duties as needed based on department and/or organizational needs

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in an execution-focused role in operations or expansion teams, preferably at a B2B Saas company  
  • Demonstrated project management skills working with multiple complex interdependent workstreams and organizing internal and external teams against tight deadlines  
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Experience understanding legal processes and regulations is a plus 
  • Specific experience in employer-of-record (EOR) and international products is a plus
  • Multilingual fluency is a plus
  • Prior experience working across multiple countries is a plus

The base wage range for this position based in our New York City Office is targeted at $109,000.00 to $119,900.00 per year.

Actual compensation is based on multiple factors that are unique to each candidate, including and not limited to skill set, level of relevant experience, and specific work location.  Salary ranges for positions based in other locations may differ based on the cost of labor in that location.
