We are seeking a full-stack developer as an Internal Tools Engineer to dive into the world of our internal platform, primarily focusing on our web-based Dashboard- the lifeline of our internal operations! You will be supporting and enhancing critical internal products that team members across the company heavily leverage to perform their jobs efficiently and effectively. Responsibilities
- Internal Dashboard Development and Enhancement: Spearhead the development, optimization, and maintenance of our internal dashboards, ensuring they remain the vital core of our internal operations. This involves both front-end and back-end development, with the opportunity to be involved in the entire development lifecycle, from design to deployment.
- Learning and Development: Embrace the opportunity to learn and implement technologies such as JavaScript, Node.js, Docker and Kubernetes, as well as Swift and SwiftUI for macOS and iOS development.
- Collaboration and Innovation: Work closely with various teams to identify bottlenecks and develop innovative solutions that streamline operations, enhancing productivity and satisfaction.
- Education and Mentorship: Share your knowledge and expertise with the team, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement in our tech stack.
Experience Requirements
- Proven Experience: 3+ years of experience in software development, with a strong portfolio of projects demonstrating full-stack expertise in internal tools development, automation, or related fields.
- Tech Stack Proficiency: Hands-on experience with JavaScript and Node.js for both server and web-based development, plus an eagerness to learn and work with Swift and SwiftUI.
- Problem-Solving Skills: Exceptional problem-solving abilities, with a knack for identifying and resolving issues efficiently and creatively.
- Collaboration and Communication: Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Adaptability: Openness and drive to learn new technologies and frameworks, adapting quickly to the evolving needs of the team and the company.
Suggested Requirements
- Experience in developing web applications in JavaScript.
- EmberJS experience would be great! But not required.
- Experience with backend development, including unit-style tests, in Node.js.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation tools.
- Introductory knowledge of Swift/SwiftUI and/or iOS development.
- Strong understanding of DevOps principles and best practices.
