Internal Controls Manager (d/f/m) at Solaris

Your Role

  • Play a key role in the further development and revision of the Internal Control System (ICS) framework
  • Responsible for the verification of control effectiveness through regular control testing on design, relevance and functionality within Solaris’s ICS framework
  • Consult the functions to study the as-is situation and will provide support in defining remediation measures
  • Track the implementation progress of defined remediation measures and report on missed deadlines / non-implementation
  • Engage with other control functions such as Internal Audit, Risk Management and Compliance to collaborate on maintaining a group wide and consistent risk management and ICS framework
  • Be involved in the future coordination of the annual Internal Control System (ICS) Audit
  • Execute and support the execution of the control life cycle maintain control library

  • Higher education degree or banking working experiences.
  • Extensive relevant work experience in Risk Management in other Financial Institutions or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of IT control functions is highly desirable
  • Business, process, risk or technology related knowledge
  • Strong knowledge of software for risk management.
  • Good knowledge of banking law and regulatory standards.
  • Strong communication skills - C1 level English and minimum B1 level German language skills.
