Internal Communications Specialist (Contract)

About the role:
Included Health is currently looking to have an Internal Communications Specialist join our team via a part time contract. This is a great opportunity for a communications professional to bring content to life for the employees of our organization through multiple avenues such as Internal Newsletters, our IH Connect intranet and All Hands Meetings. If you're a creative, self starter who loves working on collaborative projects and assignments, this may be the opportunity for you!

Responsibilities:

  • Post content on IH Connect, including weekly Sunday Night Note, and ensure the carousel is updated on a regular basis.
  • Distribute the bi-weekly IH Connect newsletter.
  • Update the TAO editorial calendar. 
  • Provide support as needed to IH Connect content managers and team members interested in setting up a new site.
  • Join bi-weekly meetings with Simpplr.
  • Track and report out on IH Connect metrics on a monthly basis.
  • Source Connect to Purpose story and add to the CTP library
  • Develop All Hands slide deck
  • Monitor chat and Q&A during live meeting
  • Post meeting replay to IH Connect and #1team
  • Track and report out on All Hands metrics on a monthly basi
  • Follow up with sabbatical participants for “Sabbatical Stories” on IH Connect
  • Glassdoor monitoring and responses
  • Monitor and report out on employer brand metrics

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years relevant internal communications, corporate communications or other related experience
  • Strong writer and communicator who can help translate information into compelling narratives
  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail as it relates to writing
  • Demonstrated credibility and professionalism in engaging with execs/leaders for All Hands meetings and other high profile company events
  • Experience managing All Hands events and logistics is a plus
  • Ability to quickly grasp information across a variety of disciplines and create clear communications
  • Passionate about employee engagement and reinforcing a strong employer brand through effective communications 
  • Google Suite and Vimeo experience is helpful. 
  • Proactive and results-oriented
  • Bachelor’s degree required

Physical/Cognitive Requirements:

  • Prompt and regular attendance at assigned work location.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-intensity work environment.
  • Ability to remain seated in a stationary position for prolonged periods.
  • Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate keyboard, computer and other office-related equipment.
  • No heavy lifting is expected, though occasional exertion of about 20 lbs. of force (e.g., lifting a computer / laptop) may be required.
  • Ability to interact with leadership, employees, and members in an appropriate manner.
