Role Overview:

Our Internal Communications Manager will play a vital role in establishing Alchemy’s employer brand voice and shaping the flow of information within the company. We’re looking for someone who has experience building extremely efficient and engaging communications channels that keep the team aligned with company goals. They’ll work cross-functionally with leadership, people, marketing, and communications teams to help the organization stay informed and motivated to compete in a fast-paced market

The ideal candidate will bring excellent creative thinking skills and an ability to approach internal communications challenges with an out-of-the-box mindset to generate engaging content, events, campaigns, and other initiatives. The Internal Communications Manager will be able to match Alchemy’s energy and dedication to the web3 ecosystem.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Streamline Internal Communications: Design and implement an internal communications blueprint that helps us align and communicate more efficiently.
  • Content Creation and Management: Develop and deliver high-quality internal communications materials, including internal newsletters, emails, Slack channels, and presentations.
  • Company-Wide Coordination: Collaborate across leadership teams to produce weekly all-hands meetings, along with supporting presentations and documentation
  • Stakeholder Management: Partner with leadership, HR, comms, marketing and other departments to ensure consistent messaging and alignment across the organization.
  • Cultural Alignment: Reinforce culture and voice in all internal communications and coach others to embody the Alchemy tone.
  • Employee Engagement: Drive initiatives that foster employee engagement, culture, and morale, using feedback to continuously improve communication efforts.
  • Product Fluency: Demonstrate a deep understanding of Alchemy’s product ecosystem to effectively communicate technical concepts across both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Critical Communication: balance the need for both transparency and velocity so that the company can move forward with sufficient alignment in an ever-changing environment

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Communications, HR, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, or related field.
  • 8+ years of experience in internal communications, ideally within a tech company or fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to convey complex ideas in clear and engaging language.
  • Proven excellence in managing communication channels and developing a voice that is clear, fun, and representative of the Alchemy brand.
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and stakeholders spanning different timezones
  • Experience with developer-centric organizations
  • Experience working with founders and executives
  • Knowledge of the blockchain/web3 industry is strongly preferred
  • Located in San Francisco or New York City

Alchemy is committed to offering competitive compensation, including base salary as well as equity. Additionally, Alchemy offers comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage, as well as other benefits such as 401k and unlimited flexible time off.

The base salary range for this position is estimated to be between $100,000 - $200,000 annually. Please note this range reflects base salary only, and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Your salary will be determined by various factors, including relevant experience, skill set, qualifications, and other business needs.
