This role comes with excellent growth opportunities within a busy and exciting team. The pathway and progression for this role could be into a client-facing position. Initially, relationships are phone-based, and you'll support our External Business Development Managers.

The team

You’ll be joining an experienced and well-established sales function of 9 people. It is a fun, fast-paced and successful team that is part of a wider Residential Lending team, including Credit and Client Servicing functions.

What will you be doing?

  • Manage, build and nurture relationships with existing and new brokers alike, providing indicative terms over the phone/ via email, and follow-up on prospective deals to see them through to successful application.
  • Focus on developing long-term relationships with brokers that deliver repeat business, whilst providing an exceptional customer experience.
  • We’re always trying to work smarter. You’ll play a key role in implementing new sales and marketing campaigns. Whilst improving your effectiveness as an IBDM, which we will 100% support you with.

Ideally, you’ll have:

  • You’ll be able to demonstrate success in a KPI/targeted sales environment.
  • We would love it if you had experience working at a lender previously however, this is not essential.
  • Exceptional phone manner and communication skills, always with a customer focus.
