We are currently seeking an experienced Internal Business Development Executive to join a reputable, family-run SME based in Isle of Sheppey. You will join a small and friendly team of dedicated individuals who operate within the events space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct targeted sales calls daily to qualify prospect and book initial Teams Meetings
- Send relevant company information to clients
- Qualify and cleanse our database of leads
- Develop an understanding of the product range, how customers use it and how best to sell it
- Following up customer interactions on marketing emails and other media to ‘warm up’ leads.
- Maintaining an adequate lead bank and pipeline of warm leads, and using this to deliver the highest-quality leads at required volume.
- Record accurate and detailed summary of virtual meetings and phone calls, including all actions, on company CRM
- Conduct market research and report on any upcoming events, establish the contact and make progress in winning the business
- Quoting clients and following up the quotes
- Ensure the database is cleansed and up to date with correct information
Requirements
- Prior experience in business development or sales, preferably in a B2B environment
- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients
- Self-motivated and driven to succeed
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Hours: Monday- Friday 8am-5pm
