As an Internal Audit Manager you will add value and assure the quality of effectiveness of Qualco Group framework related to governance, control and risk management processes by implementing independent and objective assurance that will improve business operations and support the Group’s mission and objectives.

A Day in the Life of an Internal Audit Manager at Qualco will include:

• Perform & maintain the annual Internal Audit Risk Assessment;
• Design and execute the Annual Audit Plan, based on a risk-based approach including setting the framework for establishing scope and objectives, timelines and resources;
• Participation and advises on the design and implementation of business operations and projects in accordance with internal audit standards, applicable laws, regulations and best practices;
• Maintaining meaningful relationships with stakeholders and built trust in order to allow insightful conversations that will support the audit engagements;
• Prepare clear, complete deliverables and document audit work according to IIA standards;
• Manage the provision of timely and adequate reporting;
• Provide advice to management on critical business issues upon request;
• Perform validation of audit finding closures;
• Collaborate with internal control functions (e.g., risk, compliance, legal, information security, information technology, financial controls) to ensure an adequate approach to risk and control management and a systematic evaluation of Group’s Internal Control System;
• Cooperate with Group’s external auditors to share knowledge; ensures effective service delivery and resolution of identified findings.
• Ensuring that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.

Requirements

What we are looking for       

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, or Economics. A Master’s degree is a plus;
• Eight (+) years of proven professional experience in Internal Audit professional standards, preferably with previous experience in an audit firm, or from the financial services industry;
• Professionally qualified in Internal Auditing (CIA, CISA, COSO or other). Other certifications like CRMA, CFE, will be considered as a strong plus (along with CIA or solely);
• Having a very good knowledge of IPPF, Corporate Governance Framework, Internal Audit and Accounting standards.
• Ability to process large amount of data and compile detailed reports (data analytics);
• Able to manage multiple engagements and competing priorities in a rapidly growing, fast-paced, interactive, results-based environment;
• Excellent communication skills - Fluent in Greek and English (both written and oral);
• Strong personality with excellent presentation skills;
• Able to work in a team and retain a team spirit culture.
