EquipmentShare is Hiring an Engineering Intern.

EquipmentShare is searching for a student intern to join the Engineering Team at our Home Office in Columbia, Mo for the 2024 summer.

Responsibilities

  • Strong mechanical aptitude
  • Desired, but will train; Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics
  • Cut, strip, and crimp wires according to specifications
  • Assemble wire harnesses by hand, using a variety of tools and equipment
  • Install completed harnesses into our products, ensuring proper fit and function
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any wiring or electrical issues as they arise
  • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to ensure product quality and performance
  • Work with various wire harness processing machines 

About You

Flexible work schedule but prefer Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm.

What You're Working With:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Strong mechanical aptitude, wiring or electrical systems background preferred
  • Desired but will train: Read wiring diagrams and schematics
  • Ability to use crimping tools, wire cutters, and other hand tools
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities
