Intern - Manufacturing Engineering (Year Round)

Internship
  1. Perform DOE (Design of Experiments) on hose + pipe connections on vehicle turbocharged components.

  2. Understand manufacturing process of hoses, pipes and final assembly.

  3. Work on brainstorming sessions and problem solving with multidisciplinary teams.
  4. Build samples for testing under engineering guidance.
  5. Support testing lab on testing execution and testing equipment setup.
  6. Collect and analyze data.
  7. Prepare test reports.
  8. Present test reports and findings to engineering team

Required Qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a US accredited degree program pursuing a degree in Engineering or equivalent. 
  • Must have and maintain a minimum GPA of a 2.8 or higher.
  • Able to work a minimum of 20 hours per week during normal business hours (Monday-Friday).
  • Able to come on site to our Somersworth, NH location during worked hours.
  • Ability to commute to and from Somersworth and Rochester facilities (as needed)
  • Minimum sophomore standing or higher.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc).
  • Basic math skills.
  • Relocation benefits would not be offered for this job opening.

  • Exposure to Statistical Methods
