An Intern HRIS works with internal second line support on our HRIS systems, primary our internal installation of IFS Cloud and SmartRecruiters, our Applicant Tracking System. This role has some specific regular tasks but also has ad hoc tasks.
Tasks include but are not limited to:
- Provide 2nd line support for HRIS, including researching and troubleshooting HRIS problems. Our HR Shared Service Center and Superuser communities are providing first line support.
- You will work in Responding and acting upon tickets in Assyst (ticketing system) in line with agreed procedures
- Supports special projects as needed
- Basic Data Management
- Perform system training to HR Colleagues
- Prepare HR-related reports as needed
- Document systems functionality and processes
- Actively making suggestions where inconsistencies are identified or changes to process are needed to update user guides and SOP's (Standard Operating Procedures) to support consistent delivery of services at all times in relation to HR processes.
- UAT (user acceptance testing) on testing environment to ensure processes are followed accurately in production environment
- An undergraduate / graduate in a Human Resources discipline preferred.
- Previous internship experience in IT industry/Shared Services is beneficial
