What is Intermediate Engineer?

We are looking for someone who has strong analytical mindset with problem-solving aptitude. The ideal candidate will be entrepreneurial, truthful, innovative, collaborative and customer focused, and must demonstrate from previous experiences these abilities. You need to have relevant experience in the Data Analytics domain and have experience with Agile methodologies.

You will be joining a team of diverse DWH Function with state of art technology stack with various project teams and will be reporting directly to Practice Lead.

What Intermediate Engineer does?

• Identify improvement areas in Data Analytics and propose solutions to bridge gaps.
• Build and maintain data analytics solutions to meet the company's analytical requirements.
• Deliver on the practice backlog to enhance standards and learning within the team.
• Execute on the functional backlog across the value chain, including Operations, Development, Reporting, and Program Management.
• Manage and optimize database performance, particularly in Teradata environments.
• Ensure database security, backup, and recovery processes are in place.
• Support database administration tasks such as capacity planning, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

Requirements

What are we looking for and what does it require to be Intermediate Engineer/DBA?

• Minimum 4 years of experience in the Data Analytics domain.
• Hands-on experience with Teradata DBA tasks, including performance tuning, workload management, and space management.
• Proficiency in Advanced SQL Queries and database optimization.
• Experience working in an agile environment.
• Strong knowledge of Data Lake and Data Warehousing concepts.
• Hands-on experience with ETL/BI tools.
• Experience working with DevOps and Automation tools.
• Solid understanding and experience with Shell Scripting.
• Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, R, Scala, or Python.

• Bachelors in Computer Science / Software Engineering
