Interior Design Assistant

The Design Assistant works closely with the design staff and management to prepare presentations and production materials; research projects; organize and maintain files; and provide aesthetic and administrative help, goodwill, and positive energy to the design studio.

A positive, high-energy individual with a passion for design and a sensitivity to quality who is eager to roll up their sleeves and do whatever needs doing. You’re skilled at preparing presentation materials and production materials, capable of communicating effectively with customers and/or outside vendors as needed; enjoy doing research projects; and able to organize and maintain the design library and archive resource files. You’re a born problem-solver, have strong initiative, excellent follow through, and bring an unflappable enthusiastic professionalism to every task, even the most unexpected. In short, you have a sharp eye for detail, a collaborative spirit, strong communication skills, a can-do attitude, a flexible approach, an eagerness to learn, and a general willingness to do whatever needs to be done with a smile.   • Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or equivalent experience 
  • Special skills: Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel; Adobe Suite experience a plus;  
  • Passion: Contributing to an innovative, creative, fast-paced studio environment 
  • Role: Assisting the design staff in a variety of ways  
  • Personality: Collaborative, creative, motivated, well organized, detail-oriented, positive 

 

This role is part-time and the hourly range for this job in most US geographic locations is $25/hr - $32/hr.

We are a Washington State based company. All employees must reside in the state of Washington (unless otherwise noted for specific roles) and be able to access one of our studio locations in the greater Seattle area.
