MERCHANDISING
We support Browns to maximise commercial opportunities through effective management of Browns inventory, driving sales and profit through improved trading and planning, and we do this by supporting all channels across our store, brownsfashion.com and Farfetch.
 
LONDON
Our London Head Office is based on Old Street, London's tech hub; our open plan space is ideal for collaborative working and sharing ideals. We also have a large outdoor terrace which is the perfect spot to have a team lunch or host an event. We also have a home in the form of our retail boutique at Browns Brook Street in Mayfair.
 
THE ROLE
The Interim Merchandiser will be responsible for delivering revenue, intake and sell through targets for their department, across all channels, in-line with the Browns vision. You will be able to join us on a 12 month fixed term contract, ideally able to start as soon as possible.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • You will work closely with buying to build seasonal strategy and OTB budgets in line with Browns KPIs and will proactively manage and trade OTB in market to maximise all commercial opportunities and minimise risks
  • You will strategically manage intake and stock into the business to ensure we hit revenue and stock targets, which will include ensuring we are able to amaze customers with our store assortment as well as supporting on intake management
  • You will review department trade performance and utilise in season trading levers to drive revenue and hit targets 
  • You will collaborate with other functions to drive revenue across all channels, including working with Farfetch to optimise Browns on the platform
  • You will manage the end of season markdown process for your Dept, working closely with other functions to drive revenue and effectively clear stock while maintaining maximum profitability
  • You will support on ad-hoc projects as the voice of merchandising to improve efficiencies and to optimise the entire product life cycle
  • You will coach and develop your team and support upskilling the wider function
