We are dedicated to pushing the boundaries of storytelling, influencer marketing, and branded partnerships, and we’re looking for a strategic and highly organized Interim Director of Talent Partnerships to join our team for maternity leave coverage.
About the Role:
The Interim Director of Talent Partnerships will oversee branded pre-sale and post-sale talent partnerships across multiple categories, sourcing & booking influencers/celebrities within branded content programs. This role is crucial in developing creative talent strategies, managing relationships with talent and their representatives, and ensuring the successful execution of talent-driven campaigns from start to finish.
This is a temporary role providing maternity leave coverage from early November 2024 to the end of January 2025.
Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage branded specified pre-sale across multiple categories. Pre-sale responsibilities include:
- Attend brainstorms with the full team to finalize creative ideas.
- Contribute to Talent and creative strategy.
- Provide Talent pitches and applicable rationale based on Client KPIs and creative goals.
- Advise on Talent fees, usage, creative direction and overall Talent scope.
- Collaborate with marketing and reviewing the final Talent slides in all proposals Employee pitches Talent for.
- Collaborating with the team on all client revisions.
- Oversee and execute assigned branded post-sale Talent programs and/or 360 Talent campaigns across categories. Responsibilities include:
- Attend internal and external kick-off calls, providing guidance around any Talent deliverables.
- Source, pitch & manage Talent decks for internal creative teams and client review.
- Compose Talent Term Sheets for client review.
- Collaborate with internal teams to structure the SOS (summary of services) for client records.
- Book, negotiate and contract Talent for applicable campaigns.
- Engage third party signatories for any SAG-AFTRA clients.
- Act as the liaison between BDG internal creative teams and Talent, by adequately relaying details relating to creative expectations, client feedback, shoot logistics, etc.
- Schedule pre-interviews and pre-pro calls with Talent and internal teams.
- Booking any and all Talent travel, including flights, hotel accommodations and cars.
- Manage Talent and representatives on-site for any video and/or photo shoots.
- Overseeing Talent social posts to ensure FTC compliance.
- Manage the processing of invoices and expenses relating to Talent.
Requirements
- Proven experience in talent partnerships, talent management, or a similar role.
- Strong understanding of talent contracting, fees, and SAG-AFTRA guidelines.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Experience in branded content, influencer marketing, or media partnerships is a plus.
