Let’s start with the role
We are seeking an Internal Auditor who will be part of our Internal Audit function and will be engaged in the execution of the Internal audit plan focusing on regulatory compliance audit reviews.
As an Internal, you will:
- Develop audit plans and conduct internal audits to assess the adequacy and effectiveness of the internal control systems across business operations;
- Review compliance with laws, regulations and internal policies to ensure all regulatory requirements are met;
- Prepare complete and accurate working papers in all stages of the internal audit engagement;
- Draft detailed audit reports summarizing findings, conclusions and recommendations on improvements;
- Monitor the implementation of corrective actions and management responses to audit recommendations. Perform follow-up audits to ensure resolution of identified issues;
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, regulatory changes and audit methodologies.
What you'll bring:
- 2 to 4 years of experience in Internal Audit;
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration or related field. Professional certification (CIA, CFE, CISA or similar) is a plus;
- Strong business acumen and understanding of business operations and internal controls;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint);
- Excellent analytical skills and data driven mindset;
- Fluency in English.
