LinkedIn is looking for a Global Intelligence Manager to join our Global Security & Safety team where we enable the business by providing a safe and secure work environment while supporting our values and cultures. This role will include a balance of strategic and operational responsibilities to lead a global team of analysts to assess safety and security risks to our people, workplaces, and reputation. The Intelligence Manager will lead both strategic and protective intelligence teams to provide timely, accurate, and relevant intelligence information to executives and other decision makers.
The ideal candidate will be a growth-minded, critical thinker who will apply risk based assessment methodologies to a wide range of safety and security concerns.You will have experience partnering with the business to understand critical risk areas and requirements, and communicate findings to decision-makers effectively.
Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of globally dispersed analysts to provide timely, accurate, and actionable information to senior leaders and decision makers.
Communicate effectively with a wide range of company stakeholders (including executives) to understand requirements and report on key risks to the business.
Ensure consistency of risk ratings and quality of analysis, writing style, and branding of intelligence products.
Manage contingent worker teams and optimize their engagement according to budget; act as the lead in the scoping, budgeting, tracking of budget versus actuals, and status reporting as needed.
Partner with crisis management teams to create and support crisis operational plans, procedures, and workflows.
Identify opportunities for new products to drive analytic innovation and impact.
Build measurable KPIs and Objectives consistent with LinkedIn requirements, and reflect these in budgets and business plans updated as required.
Develop and lead a team that operates through LinkedIn values, and the delivery of high quality service to both internal and external partners.
Contribute to an environment that fosters innovation and enables continuous improvement of the risk management and resilience mindset across the business.
Occasional travel may be required, including international travel.
Basic qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Intelligence, Security Management, Criminal Justice, Information Security, or related field, or equivalent practical experience.
7+ years of experience in intelligence and analysis operations.
3+ years in a managerial or supervisory role within a corporate or government safety and security environment.
3+ years of experience leveraging established threat management processes.
Preferred qualifications:
Advanced intelligence analysis experience and training, including structured analytic techniques.
Master’s degree in Intelligence, Security Management, Criminal Justice, Information Security, or related field.
Experience providing tailored intelligence support to Protective Security teams.
Effective project management, verbal, and written communication experience with industry accepted safety and security management frameworks.
Formal research and analysis training experience.

The pay range for this role is $106,000 to $172,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location.This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
