Intelligence Analyst

Prevail Partners delivers high quality security, intelligence, research and consultancy services to clients ranging from governments and multinational corporations to non-governmental organisations. These services are delivered predominantly across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

You will be joining an Information Fusion Cell based in London formed of highly capable intelligence analysts to provide 24hr monitoring of critical information feeds. This work will inform operational decision-making on a live task. You will be working to an Intelligence Team Leader, and a team of former military and private sector intelligence professionals. You will use cutting edge open-source intelligence platforms and media analysis tools to deliver excellence to our customers.

Salary

We have salary bands linked to all our roles, depending on experience this role will pay from £30,000 to £55,000 per annum.

Requirements

Essential Criteria

  • Two years (minimum) experience in open-source research and intelligence gathering techniques.
  • Due to the security of our projects, you must be a UK Passport holder with, or able to achieve at least, SC security clearance.  
  • Able to commute and work daily on-site in a central London office.
  • Able to work shifts and weekends in a team providing 24/7 monitoring.
  • Strong IT literacy including the MS Office Suite.
  • Strong grasp of current affairs and National Security.

Highly Desirable Criteria:

  • Formal intelligence analysis training.
  • Proven ability to work as part of an intelligence team, with experience working in a similar role in a military intelligence, law enforcement, Government, or private intelligence environment.
  • Proficient in delivering presentations to senior stakeholders and engaging with external partners.

Prospective candidates should demonstrate the ability to:

  • Collate, evaluate and assess intelligence and data from a variety of different sources.
  • Provide live reporting and updates to help inform operational decisions.
  • Produce formal reports or presentations, to include illustrative graphics, with attention to detail.
  • Work effectively under pressure and to tight deadlines, demonstrating motivation, initiative and focus.
  • Use link analysis and information database tools.
  • Liaise and engage with senior representatives from the client.
  • Be willing to learn and work with a range of communications and information technology applications, including some specialised data collection, analysis and presentation tools.
  • Hold an understanding of information management.
  • Highly proficient in Excel, data visualisation tools, and PowerPoint.
