Integration Test Lead

You’ll be working with the engineering and validation team.

This team runs on coffee with an infectious passion to build products that have never been built before. Our Flexible Energy Stack consists of the e^pack (battery pack) and e^pump (charging station) which together unlock 15-minute rapid charging.

Your role will be, to take lead in testing all the exponent products including vehicle integration testing as a common entity.

 

Job Description

Create comprehensive test plans in line with various product interactions and integration.

Participate, lead & review DFMEA, FTA, and RCA for ecosystem of products.

Ensure interaction between the products; both hardware and software are vetted for field release.

Liaise with external test laboratories for executing road load tests.

Work with cross-functional teams and other business units to propose new integration possibilities.

Highlight integration risks proactively and devise methods to clear them or convert them to bugs for tracking and closure.

Should be able to guide the development of automatic or semi-automatic testing for faster action and wider test coverage across the ecosystem.

Understand individual products' DVP and provide integration-level DVP.

Establish test standards to cover regression testing

 

Qualifications and Experience:

Bachelors/Masters in Automotive / Instrumentation / Mechatronics engineering.

2-5 years of proven experience in complex electromechanical system integration and evaluation.

Must have experience in battery and electronics.

Must have experience in designing and/or testing end user-facing products.

Knowledge of Battery and Charger management systems.

 

Knowledge and Skills:

Team management.

Handle complexity and break it down into simpler and/or sophisticated test cases.

Understand architecture diagrams. Ability to transform diagrams to documents and slide decks.

Capability to stitch different product architectures to one ecosystem architecture for test purposes.

Understanding basic electrical/electronic circuits and line diagrams.

Understand vibration effects and sealing integrity of mechanical structure.

Knowledge of battery and charger.

Experience EMI/EMC test, and environmental tests.

CAN, RS485 communication protocol.

Resilience and speed to work in a dynamic startup environment.

Fundamentals on software – C, python, Matlab.
