Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our Humanoid is designed for corporate tasks targeting labor shortages and jobs that are undesirable or unsafe. We are based in Sunnyvale, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration.
We are looking for an Integration Technician to join the team to build complex mechanical and electrical systems and assemble our humanoid robot.
Responsibilities:
- Build mechanical and electrical assemblies into a complete system
- Remove and replace mechanical components up to 50lbs
- Identify and document electrical and mechanical failures on complex systems
- Develop and document best practices on early developmental builds
- Work closely with controls team, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and build groups to improve future design
- Install complex harnesses in production style environment
- Use JIRA, Google Sheets, Google Docs, Google Slides, and email
- Ability to work under short timelines when needed
Requirements:
- 2+ years experience working with complex systems
- Familiarity with electrical hardware based diagnostic tools such as but not limited to Scope, Digital MultiMeter, Current Probes
- Familiarity with torque tools and mechanical assembly
- Ability to communicate with others
- Ability to follow assembly documentation
- Use general hand tools
- Great attitude and excited to face challenges
- Organized with attention to detail
Bonus Qualifications:
- Catia or CAD based program experience
- Fabrication experience
- Hobbies such as radio control cars and model building
- Small brushless motor experience
- Robotics experience
- Multiple languages
