Integration System Engineer II

The Integration Systems Engineer II will contribute to the maintenance and configuration of integration endpoints with on-premise and cloud-based ERP systems for products and services utilized by GHX provider customers. The primary role is to be the supporting technical resource to work collaboratively on an implementation project in a post go live phase with a technical counterpart assigned by the customer. Responsible for execution of troubleshooting to validate connectivity and data accuracy with internal and external parties according to scope of the post go live plan.

Principal duties and responsibilities: 

  • Act as primary technical contact participating in post go live support activities such as in-depth research and resolution of issues, endpoint configuration, and ensuring data accuracy.
  • Analyze and resolve any discrepancies or errors that may exist in customer provided data.
  • With assistance from the engineer assigned to the project, advise on technical solutions to meet integration requirements of GHX products according to ERP.  Where standard solutions do not meet requirements or pose significant risks the Integration System Engineer II consults available resources and recommends an alternate solution. 
  • Provides ownership and direction related to integration processes, configuration and troubleshooting for all post go live data and transaction flows from end to end.
  • Ability to work as a collaborative member of a project team with an understanding of Agile methodology. Communicates directly with customer technical resources to coordinate and complete tasks.
  • Participates in all activities to ensure the customer experiences a smooth transition from implementation to support and adheres to metrics provided to measure success.
  • Collaborate closely with the product and support organizations to relay customer feedback, document bugs and enhancement requests and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Manage escalations and deliver timely resolutions to provide an excellent customer experience.

Required Skills: 

  • Solid working knowledge of common healthcare materials management systems such as Peoplesoft, Meditech and Lawson as well as cloud-based ERPs such as Workday, Infor Cloudsuite and Oracle Cloud.
  • Integration expertise in healthcare supply chain, accounts payable processes and familiarity with AP automation software for healthcare organizations.
  • Demonstrated success (2+ years) as a project resource through the post-implementation phase with a focus on customer success and product support.
  • Proven ability to configure and troubleshoot endpoint applications that support SFTP and API as connectivity access points.
  • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills to identify, diagnose and resolve issues commonly found with data integrity, missing data and integration issues.
  • Strong collaborative, teamwork, and interpersonal skills and ability to communicate with technical stakeholders, both inside and outside of the company.

Required Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or combination of education and equivalent work experience.
  • 2+ years experience in an integration role, preferably in a healthcare related environment.
  • Familiarity with MMIS/ERP systems such as Workday, Infor Cloudsuite, Oracle Cloud, PeopleSoft, Meditech, Lawson and their integration capabilities.
  • Strong knowledge of data integration methods including SFTP, APIs, ETL processes, middleware and data mapping.
  • Demonstrated experience with the analysis, testing, maintenance, and support of enterprise integration points in a healthcare related environment
  • Excellent interpersonal, oral/written communication, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills to effectively collaborate with internal teams and external customers.
  • Excellent organization skills with the ability to participate in multiple high-priority projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to travel up to 20%. 

 

Estimated salary range: $64,600 - $86,100 

The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the GHX’s salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate’s qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of GHX’s total compensation package for employees.
