WHAT YOU DO

WHAT YOU DO

As an Integration Specialist at Equus Software, you will play a crucial role in integrating our software products with various external systems and third-party applications. You will work closely with our clients and internal teams to define integration requirements, implement our existing solutions with client-specific configurations, and support and maintain these integrations in our Azure-based production environment.

Your responsibilities include implementing and maintaining integration solutions using Jitterbit’s iPaaS platform, analyzing and troubleshooting data and integration issues, and providing technical support and guidance to clients and internal teams. Additionally, you will create and manage data mappings and transformations for integration projects, monitor and optimize integration performance to ensure reliability and efficiency, and update and maintain documentation for our solutions. This role is primarily focused on implementing and maintaining pre-existing integration solutions, with a strong emphasis on ongoing support and troubleshooting in our production environment. While this is not a developer role, scripting will be required for certain integration tasks.

This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in an environment with established processes and who enjoy utilizing existing tools and technologies. At the same time, you will have opportunities to creatively address unique client challenges and innovate to improve our solutions.

 

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, computer science or a related field
  • 2+ years of experience working with software integrations and production support
  • A good understanding of APIs, RESTful web services, and data serialization formats (XML, JSON)
  • Experience with integration tools and technologies such as Postman, PGP, Swagger, ETL, SFTP, middleware, or iPaaS platforms.
  • Knowledge of data mapping and transformation techniques
  • Basic proficiency with SQL for querying and troubleshooting
  • Basic proficiency in at least one scripting language (e.g., JavaScript, Python) for integration tasks; more advanced developer skills and experience are helpful but not required
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent fluency with spoken and written English
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment

NICE TO HAVE

  • Experience with Jitterbit’s iPaaS solution
  • Familiarity with HR or global mobility domains
  • Experience integrating with Workday or SuccessFactors
  • Experience working in a production support environment
  • Certifications in relevant technologies
