Integration & Reliability Technician

Figure is an AI Robotics company developing a general purpose humanoid. Our Humanoid is designed for corporate tasks targeting labor shortages and jobs that are undesirable or unsafe. We are based in Sunnyvale, CA and require 5 days/week in-office collaboration. 

We are looking for an Integration & Reliability Technician to build, maintain, and improve the product of the future.

Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain test assets and prototype builds in operational state
  • Remove and replace mechanical components up to 50lbs
  • Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical failures on complex systems
  • Develop and document best practices for reliability on early developmental builds
  • Collaborate with controls team, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and build groups to improve future design
  • Build and implement test harnesses to assist in product testing and development
  • Develop tools and diagnostics procedures for process improvement
  • Document issues and regular maintenance using JIRA or similar systems
  • Ability to work under short timelines when needed

Requirements: 

  • 3+ years experience working with complex systems
  • Familiarity with computer based tools such as but not limited to CMD prompt, Google Suite, in house development GUI’s
  • Familiarity with electrical hardware based diagnostic tools such as but not limited to Scope, Digital MultiMeter, Current Probes
  • Familiarity with torque tools and mechanical assembly
  • Ability to read PCB and Harness schematics 
  • Ability to follow assembly documentation
  • Full system architecture diagnostic experience and organized diagnostic processes 
  • Great attitude and excited to face challenges

Bonus Qualifications:

  • Catia or CAD based program experience
  • Programming experience Python Java C++
  • Fabrication experience
  • PCB Rework experience
  • DAQ system implementation experience
  • Small brushless motor experience
  • Harmonic drive, clutches, torque/force sensor  knowledge
  • Robotics experience
