DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW: IT Electric Operations
The IT Electric Operations team at PG&E supports the company's efforts in maintaining and enhancing the infrastructure that powers California's electric grid. This team plays a critical role in integrating cutting-edge technology to optimize operational efficiency, safety, and reliability across various systems, ensuring that PG&E continues to deliver exceptional service to its customers.
POSITION SUMMARY: Integration Project Manager
The Integration Project Manager will be responsible for overseeing the integration of data from various vendor applications into the Camlin Sapient platform via Mulesoft. This role includes coordinating with technical teams, managing project timelines, and ensuring a seamless flow of data across systems.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the integration project from start to finish, ensuring successful delivery.
- Collaborate with DTA Web, Foundry, SAP technical teams, and Mulesoft developers to integrate vendor applications into the Camlin Sapient platform.
- Act as the liaison between technical teams and business stakeholders, translating business needs into technical requirements.
- Lead the testing phase to validate data accuracy and functionality of the integration interface.
- Proactively identify and resolve technical challenges that arise during the integration process.
- Maintain detailed project documentation and provide regular status updates to key stakeholders.
- Ensure compliance with relevant security standards and protocols throughout the integration process.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of project management experience in IT or software development, with a strong focus on data integration.
- Knowledge of database management and data exchange formats.
- Experience with API development and management.
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non-technical audiences and facilitate collaboration between teams.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to manage complex projects under tight deadlines.
- Project management certification (e.g., PMP) or relevant certifications related to Mulesoft or integration technologies.
- Familiarity with substation operations and electrical testing data is preferred.
- Prior experience in the utility or energy sector, particularly with substation management systems is preferred.
