Integrated Media Director

Job Description:

We are looking for a highly qualified Account Director with experience in multiple digital marketing channels, as well as leading projects to greatness. The key role for the AD will be to deliver leadership across the key accounts within DWA India’s portfolio. S/he will have responsibility for his/her group’s P&L and the professional development of their staff as well as fostering strong relationships with key clients. The AD will come from a media planning background and be able to deliver strategic and innovative campaigns for their clients. In addition, s/he will assist on new business projects as required.

 

Key Attributes

  1. Leadership – The AD will, through their leadership of the account, earn the trust and respect of the client, their team members and other relevant parties. The AD will be responsible to develop the vision for the key client accounts. They will ensure that client satisfaction is always maximised. Industry commentary and leadership is also required.
  2. Commercial Sense – The AD will understand the financial dynamics of each client arrangement and will maximise opportunities to increase agency revenue.

Specific Responsibilities

  1. Managing the key clients
  2. Create and foster client relationship
  3. Deliver targeted P&L across portfolio
  4. Understand and deliver client’s marketing objectives
  5. Proactively present new ideas that enhance and develop the client’s marketing
  6. Manage team – Account Managers and Account Executives
  7. Train and develop junior staff members
  8. Drive opportunities for additional revenue
  9. Budgeting and account planning
  10. Adherence to QA processes
  11. Other duties as required by the Management

Key Relationships

Senior Client marketing leaders, the CMO, day to day Marketing teams, DWA + Merkle Network, and media owners.

  • Graduate / post-graduate in Business Management
  • Overall about 8 years’ experience in client relationship management for all forms of media, post sales consulting and project management, ideally with 5+ years of media agency experience.
  • Successful track record of building relationships and managing client engagements with senior executives at media companies.
  • Strong customer service outlook with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Candidate needs to be able to quickly gain an in-depth knowledge of customers’ needs, requirements and organizational structures
  • Strong business, technical, and problem-solving skills
  • Highly organized and proven professional, with demonstrated ability to create and administer complex campaign schedules, communicated in a straight talking, open and easily digestible manner
  • Knowledge of the online advertising industry and all other media platforms
  • Proven capacity to utilize analytics to drive campaign optimization
  • Advanced Excel & PowerPoint skills and ad industry measurement tools
  • Professional maturity, integrity, discipline and a positive attitude
