Job Description
Qualified candidates shall be responsible for reviewing and extracting insurance requirements from documents such as leases and contracts. This role involves meticulous attention to detail, proficiency in interpreting documents with a knowledge and understanding of insurance coverage types, limits, and insurance terminology; with the ability to communicate findings effectively.
Responsibilities
Insurance Requirement Extraction
- Extract and summarize essential data from Contracts and Leases such as insurance coverage type requirements, coverage limits, insurance endorsement provisions, and other critical insurance related information from lease agreements and contracts
- Accurately enter extracted lease/contract insurance requirements into company systems
Interaction
- Communicate with clients or internal team members to clarify document ambiguities or missing information
- Relay gaps in company product availability vs. lease/contract insurance requirements to internal teams
- Provide periodic updates on project progress and findings
Process Improvement
- Assist and adapt to ongoing development and implementation of contract review processes
- Assist in training and mentoring team members on Insurance requirement extraction/interpretation standards
Requirements
Commercial Insurance knowledge and/or background (Licensed is preferred)
Familiarity of insurance terminology related to leasing and contracts
Proficiency in Google workspace (formerly G-Suite)
Strong analytical and organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred experience in lease administration, contract review, insurance verification, preferably in a third-party services environment
