About the Role
As the Insurance Products Manager, you will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing new property & casualty products to distribute to our existing customer base, and ensure the success of the program through effective underwriting and quoting processes. You will work closely with the CEO, sales, and engineering teams to take new products from idea to launch. This a brand new role in the organization giving you an opportunity to build out strong processes and an elite team.

Location
This is a hybrid role in our downtown Austin,Texas office.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the end-to-end management of insurance products, from conception to launch and beyond.
  • Conduct market research to identify customer needs, competitive offerings, and emerging trends.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, actuarial, marketing, and sales, to develop and refine products.
  • Monitor product performance, analyzing data to identify opportunities for improvement and growth.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
  • Develop and execute product strategies that align with the company’s business objectives.
  • Act as a subject matter expert, providing guidance and support to internal teams on product-related matters.

About You

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, finance, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in product management, preferably within the insurance industry.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • Familiarity with insurance regulations and compliance requirements.
