Vibrent is seeking an experienced Instructional Designer to develop and deliver technical training programs for our SaaS solutions.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in using the Absorb Learning Management System (LMS) to create engaging, learner-centered training solutions, and will have created similar training in the past for data manipulation tools such as Tableau and Power BI. Prior experience working in the medical research or clinical trials industry is strongly preferred.
This will be a Temporary W-2 role: you will be a Vibrent employee, eligible for our temporary employee benefits program. We anticipate a six-month engagement.
Vibrent Health is a remote-first organization, and this is a remote position. You will be equipped to work remotely on a team that is fully remote. Candidates in the Fairfax, VA area may utilize office space there and attend some meetings face to face if they prefer.

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and implement comprehensive training programs for our SaaS products. The curriculum will include eLearning modules, instructor led trainings and knowledge checks.
- Create interactive and engaging eLearning modules using Absorb LMS, ensuring a seamless learning experience for diverse audiences.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) in our organization to translate complex technical content into clear, concise, and effective training materials for an audience of customers in the medical research or clinical trials industries.
- Apply instructional design methodologies (ADDIE, SAM, etc.) to develop both instructor-led training (ILT) and eLearning solutions.
- Conduct needs assessments, analyze target audiences, and define learning objectives for technical training programs.
- Develop assessments, quizzes, and hands-on exercises that evaluate learners' comprehension of data manipulation tools and techniques.
- Monitor and evaluate training effectiveness through learner feedback, assessments, and data analytics; continuously improve training materials based on feedback and evolving needs.
- Stay up to date with the latest trends and advancements in eLearning, instructional design, and technical training within the clinical trials or medical research industry.
- Ensure all training materials adhere to regulatory standards relevant to the clinical trials and medical research industry (e.g., GCP, HIPAA, 21 CFR Part 11).
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Information Technology, or related field.
- 3+ years of experience in instructional design, eLearning development, or technical training.
- 2+ years of experience with Absorb LMS or similar platforms.
- Proven experience designing and developing technical training for complex data manipulation platforms such as Tableau or other Power BI applications.
- Proficiency in using Absorb LMS for creating and managing eLearning content.
- Strong understanding of instructional design principles and methodologies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly and concisely.
- Experience working with SMEs and cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver high-quality training.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
