Join us as an instructional designer to accelerate team member expertise by curating, maintaining, and evolving content for our Revenue teams.  The ideal candidate has a high standard of excellence in both written and visual content and experience in training methodologies.  They are above-average communicators who can effectively prioritize work among competing priorities. 
 
 
Your impact
  • Own new Vendor Management Operations (VMO) training launches.
    • Serve as the project manager for all VMO launches to ensure an on-time launch and successful transfer of information
    • Develop all assessments, role plays, or other learning activities in partnership with SMEs to maximize knowledge retention 
    • Measure the impact of training efforts to determine effectiveness and adjust the approach as necessary
    • Work cross-functionally with stakeholders across AppFolio and with our VMO partner
    • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Build and deliver scaled trainings to revenue org team members.
    • Build courses utilizing SCORM files
    • Achieve AppFolio product & process mastery and leverage that knowledge to train others on new GTM and product initiatives
    • Grade and conduct assessments to understand learner performance
    • Deliver live sessions (in person and via Zoom) with high charisma and knowledge
    • Design presentations that are visually interesting, yet clear for the learner.
    • Foster a strong LMS backend and frontend user experience
  • Enable rev org teams to drive efficiencies across internal team operations.
    • Partner with the Revenue Operations team members to provide enablement support on 2025 strategic initiatives through deck creation, FAQs, coordinating trainings/meetings, videos and short courses to equip team members.
    • Prioritize team requests by assessing needs against OKRs to ensure the right work is being prioritized at any given time
    • Facilitate the ongoing success of key operational programs which may include performance analysis and reporting, process/quality management, and/or system maintenance and enhancement
 
 
Qualifications 
  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Experience with content and distilling complex information into easy-to-digest formats 
  • Articulate Rise SCORM course creation experience
  • Project Management experience preferred
  • Ability to travel internationally 1/year
 
 
Must have
  • 3+ years of experience in Instructional Design
  • 3+ years experience at a SaaS company, preferably in Training & Enablement, Instructional Design, or a Sales/Services capacity
  
 
Compensation & Benefits
The base salary that we reasonably expect to pay for this role is: $75-95k.
The actual base salary/hourly wage for this role will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to: the candidate’s skills, education, experience, etc. 
Please note that base pay is one important aspect of a compelling Total Rewards package. The base pay range indicated here does not include any additional benefits or bonuses/commissions that you may be eligible for based on your role and/or employment type.
